IT Helpdesk & Customer Support Specialist

We're a growth-phase crowdfunding real estate investment company looking for a hybrid IT Helpdesk Agent & Customer Support Specialist to join our technology team.

Our company is technology-focused and has a mid-size software engineering and otherwise technical group that's continuing to grow. As such, our CTO is looking for someone to support the department's and company’s internal support needs. This position is made for someone who excels at phone, online chat, and helpdesk support of a technical nature. Excellent communication and strong computer skills are required as is the ability to manage a wide variety of customer support and hands-on IT issues.

As an entry-level position, there is an incredible amount of room to grow this role, assist in creating new processes, and excel as part of a grade-A team in a startup environment.


Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting in choosing new technology solutions to solve issues the company faces and help support the implementation of these systems
  • Be the autonomous IT team point of contact for employees across multiple locations in the LA area; coordinate solutions with team members
  • Answering Customer support phone line and helpdesk tickets
  • Learning, using and training on internal systems in order to investigate customer issues and provide IT support
  • Assisting in launching new investment opportunity listings on our platform
  • Assisting with the procedural evaluation of customer information in a regulated environment in order to ensure compliance with guidelines
  • Solving office IT issues and provisioning new software/hardware


We would prefer an individual with experience in the following areas:

  • Computer troubleshooting and hardware setup
  • Internet service and networking familiarity
  • Database administration
  • Internal helpdesk management
  • Customer support center experience
  • Real estate, investment, banking and/or financial services

We're a group that loves to teach each other; while we prefer some experience so you can hit the ground running, be prepared to learn a lot of new skills.

Role is full-time and includes 100% paid health, dental and vision. We also provide a 401(k) and regularly do free lunches, happy hours, etc.
